The handset features five big keys, a large red 6 digit 5x7 dot matrix L.E.D. readout for current position, co-ordinates and other messages, in R.A., hours and minutes and DEC degrees and minutes. Display has adjustable brightness  in 20 steps, a  the handset also includes a built-in red flashlight with adjustable brightness. Connection to the C.P.U. is by means of a standard D type plug.
